OVER 1000 VEHICLES AND MOTORCYCLES EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN ROLLING THUNDER CANADA RED RIDE

On May 30, 2009, 1000 vehicles Motorcycles are expected to retrace the highway of heroes’ trip when a fallen soldier is repatriated to Canada.  From Centennial Park in Trenton to the Legion Hall 614 in Toronto.  Registration is at 10:00 AM at Centennial Park (Quinte West). The Rally (Ride) leaves the park at 12:00 Noon and drives down the Highway Of Heroes (Highway 401) to legion Branch 614 at 100 Salome Drive in Toronto. At the Legion Branch a BBQ will be available for participants as well as some prizes.   Funds raised from pledge sheets at this event is going to the Friends Of Veterans Canada Charity in support of their mission of building an online video library of Canadian Veterans.

Randy Young launches his Western tour in search of veterans to interview and record. May 30 2009 also doubles as the launch date for Randy as he sets out for the western leg tour of Canada stopping by legion branches in cities such as Barrie ON, Sault Ste. Maria ON., Thunder Bay ON., Winnipeg MB., Regina SK., Wainright AL., Edmonton AL., Kelowna BC., Kamloops BC., Victoria BC. and Vancouver BC to mention just a few.  Along with collecting the documentaries of Veterans Lives, Randy is also making a documentary of this legacy.  Randy Young will travel with a cell phone keeping in touch with the Charity Headquarters and also being available for Media Interviews and Photo OPs along the tour.
